David M. Joyner, M.D.
Medical Advisor

Dr. Joyner advises the Occupational Athletics team on complex orthopedic MSD-related injuries.  He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is a former Clinical Associate Professor (Orthopedic Surgery) at the Pennsylvania State University. From 1985 – 2012, Dr. Joyner was active in sports medicine activities with the United States Olympic Committee and related organizations.  He previously has served as Athletic Director at Pennsylvania State University and now serves as Executive Director and Senior Vice President at the Andrews Institute.
